so just watched let the right one in. YAWN. didn't like it at all, super slow and boring. and really weird. maybe i just didn't get it, i dunno. the audience doesn't know what sex the vampire kid is, although the vamp kid dresses like a girl it says it isn't a girl, and at one point the kid who's in love with the vampire kid sneaks a peek at the vampire changing and you get a shot of like a ken doll type groin with a big stitch through it like it was a boy and had it's junk cut off. definitely wasn't expecting to see that. i wouldn't recommend the film. to me it felt like a waste of time. disappointing! i was looking forward to it and it had decent ratings. bummer.
