some locals

Poor little Djembe by Ian Johnson
ian johnson aka prairie dog town. this fella has led many memorable and fantastic sing-a-longs. and epic one occurred last night. we probably annoyed the neighbours with our hoots, stomps, claps and hollers of "penguins fly UNDERWATER!"...but really, who can keep quiet when happiness is oozing from every pore?

here's one from little house, another band ian is in:
Wolfman by LITTLE HOUSE

Galapagospel by Alanadale
consisting of josie, george, dale and thomas, alanadale is fantastic (in my humble opinion). i really love all their original songs, but they also do some amazing covers of love will tear us apart, tunnels, and most recently mia's paper planes. if you live near, make sure you get a chance to see these guys play. favorite line of the song "we showed up in style the only way a great explorer should arrive."

Dust Like Sand by The Northern Colour & Sound Orchestra
another great band by a gimli folk. so many great people from such a small population! i don't understand it, but i'm not complaining in the slightest.
