"The colors she wore went together perfectly. She looked like a rainbow in an oil puddle. She returned to the laundromat and turned the lights back on. The men were tied up and noiseless on the scabby green chairs, just as she had left them. Clothes were still circling in the dryers , in slow steamy protest. The red blossoms on their shirts needed attending to. One more load of wash and she could go."
