conflicted

i think this is a pretty picture.
i love owls.
i hate mascots.
so even though i should like it, i'm horrified by it. scary.

another thing that creeped me out, was a short 15 minute film by martin arnold that i saw in my film enchante class. what he did was take approximately 40 seconds of clips from a series of movies (andy hardy) with judy garland and some other guy who's name i forget, and re-edited them and repeated clips to change the story. i can't find the full thing on the net, but here's a clip. if you get bored, skip to the last 30 seconds, it's really weird but while watching the full 15 min, i was thoroughly creeped out. if you want to know, martin arnold changed the story into a love triangle between judy garland's character, andy hardy, and andy hardy's mother. creepy.
